Dr Jason Souyias
Director / Owner of Referral Lab
Dr Jason Souyias has been an SSC director for over 7 years. Jason’s passion for his profession is reflected in his desire to share it with others. He is a former Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology and Hygiene, at the University of Detroit Mercy and is a co-owner and co-founder of Referral Lab business analytic software. Dr Souyias regularly educates dentists and hygienists by giving presentations and in 2023 became a faculty member at the Pikos Institute. He frequently presents to groups on business practices and periodontal therapy.
Anyone who has seen him speak can feel his passion for his work. Dr Souyias is also in full-time private periodontal practice in Port Huron, MI. His office is known for their amazing case acceptance and communication skills, as well as their incredible patient experience.

Jacklyn Khanpara has nearly two years of experience in the dental field, Jacklyn brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and community-building skills to her role as the Club Coordinator for the Comprehensive Care Club. Passionate about fostering growth and collaboration, she is dedicated to creating an environment where professionals can come together to learn and share knowledge.
In addition to her role as a coordinator, Jacklyn works on the clinical team at Dr Souyias’ periodontal office, where she has gained firsthand insight into the intricacies of patient care. Her prior experience in hospitality has further sharpened her natural abilities in leadership, communication and attention to detail, skills that have proven invaluable in managing and growing a successful study club.

Patty Crawford
With 43 years of experience in the dental field, Patty Crawford is a certified dental assistant in Washington, having worked in a wide range of specialties including general practice, fixed prosthodontics, pedodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics. She later transitioned into a role as a treatment coordinator in both general and periodontal practices.
Since March 2018, Patty has been with Seattle Study Club as a Club Sherpa, where she collaborates with club directors and coordinators around the world. Passionate about helping others, she works to empower club leaders to create impactful programs and engaging events that inspire and support doctors in their communities. Patty’s goal is to encourage continued growth and excellence, ultimately helping doctors provide the highest level of patient care.

DR NADA ALBATISH
Dr Nada Albatish earned her DDS from the University of Toronto in 2007, graduating summa cum laude with multiple academic and clinical awards, and completed a GPR at Lutheran Medical Center (currently NYU Langone Health). She is the founder and principal dentist of All Smiles Dental Centre, a multidisciplinary practice just north of Toronto, Canada. Dr Albatish’s niche is cosmetic and rehabilitative dentistry—her ability to simplify complex concepts in comprehensive dentistry and her vision of the business of dentistry make her a popular speaker. She lectures nationally and internationally on comprehensive restorative dentistry, interdisciplinary treatment, leadership, and the business of dentistry. She is the director of Study Club in the Six, the Toronto affiliate of Seattle Study Club. Dr Albatish is inspired by creating a culture of collaboration whereby dentists achieve excellence, predictability and confidence in their craft.

Erin Howlett, RDH, BA is a 30+ year veteran in the dental field in the areas of clinical, events and education. She is thrilled to utilize her varied experience and career-long focus on comprehensive patient care to guide study clubs as a Sherpa for Seattle Study Club. Her previous roles include Operations Manager for Wellness Dentistry Network and delivering training in integration of dentistry in the healthcare team via courses with Wellness Dentistry Network (Doug Thompson, DDS, Founder) and at the Kois Center. Early in her dental hygiene career she trained with former head of the Department of Implant Dentistry, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Paul Schnitman, on all aspects of implant dentistry. She’s continued to deliver hygiene courses on the topics of implant maintenance, the hygienist’s role in comprehensive patient assessment, and the role of Implant Treatment Coordinator.

Kelsey Miller, Director of Client Relations at Seattle Study Club, is dedicated to supporting dental professionals in achieving their continuing education and engagement goals. Although new to the Seattle Study Club team, Kelsey brings extensive experience collaborating with top dental organizations and leaders, where she has excelled in orchestrating and optimizing study club operations.
With a Master’s degree in Psychology, Kelsey has a distinctive approach to understanding and enhancing member engagement, drawing on her knowledge of behavioral insights to elevate the value and impact of study clubs. Her expertise extends to implementing innovative technologies, streamlining club functions, and driving meaningful participation. Today, she will guide you through strategies for Maximizing Engagement through Technology, Streamlining Club Processes, and provide practical advice on creating memorable and impactful member experiences.

Diana Escutia has been with Seattle Study Club for over five years. In that time, she has worked with the sherpas in the educational department, managing well over 200 webinars and curating live-lecture and video modules. More recently, she has been leading the SSC team through its business platform transition to facilitate company-wide efficiencies and data control. Diana has also been a familiar face at Directors Summit, Coordinators Conference and the national Symposium, where she counts herself fortunate to be able to meet with and assist directors, coordinators, and members face-to-face.

With 33 years of experience in dentistry, Dr Eman Traynor prioritizes patient care by firstunderstanding their individual needs and concerns. She collaborates closely with referring general dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with each patient’s goals. Her approach emphasizes addressing periodontal disease and any underlying systemic factors that may contribute to it. Dr Traynor fosters a strong patient-doctor relationship built on clear communication and mutual understanding, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.
Dr Traynor is a lifelong learner dedicated to staying at the forefront of periodontal advancements. She actively participates in local, regional, and national meetings to remain current with the latest techniques and technologies. Demonstrating her commitment to professional development, she founded and directs a local Seattle Study Club, providing high-level education to fellow dentists and dental hygienists in her community.

Liz Kolsky has been an educator for more than 25 years. She began her career as an elementary school teacher and became a middle school reading teacher. She has a master's degree in Elementary Education from New York University and a Reading Specialist Certification from Bank Street College of Education. She has taught at the most prestigious private schools in New York City and was involved in the founding of an alternative public school, The Manhattan School for Children, during the alternative public- school movement of the 1990s.
After taking time to have a family, Liz returned to education in a different capacity. She answered an advertisement and soon became the Coordinator of Dr Traynor’s Greenwich Study Club. Inspired by her experiences teaching children and creating curriculum, Liz brings a unique perspective to her role as Coordinator. Her background in education provides her with in-depth knowledge and understanding of interdisciplinary education and learning facilitation. Over the last 12 years, this approach has enabled the study club to continually modify and adjust the curriculum and events to meet the needs of their members.
